I don’t know where to begin. I’m so in love with my German Shepherd from Teresa and Paul. Throughout my life time I have had many dogs of all kinds including German Shepherds.  I often send photos and updates to Teresa, bragging about how perfect my “Cadence Mae” is, formerly known as Daisy Mae. Cadence is very protective but some how so appropriate. She is the best behaved pet in the waiting room during her vet appointments. Leaving people awestruck. Cadence has shown love and partiality toward those with physical and mental disabilities which really warms my heart. Cadence makes friends easily human or canine when she knows it is ok to do so. Everyone that meets her loves her. My family and I are very blessed.I hope to be blessed with another GSD from Paul and Teresa some day.

Amazing dogs, great lines in the parent dogs. The breeders know their stuff thru and thru with their dogs. Everything from training advice to feeding to play. They keep in touch with new owners and are always willing to help. Their support for military and first responders is above and beyond and well and that means a lot nowadays. As long as they're in business they'll get mine. Thanks Paul and Theresa! You guys have been awesome.

Amazing service even a year after getting Ash! They made the entire process super easy and really care about the well being of you and your new puppy. I couldn't be any happier with the whole experience!

We adopted Bazil (AKA Bazzy) just over a month ago. She flew to us in February on the last day animals could fly - and Theresa worked so hard (thankfully) to get her to us before the shutdown. Bazzy has been a super star from the start. We can tell how much Theresa and her family work with the pups prior to adoptions as Bazzy was half trained by the time she got to us. So easy to house train and already knew basic commands. Bazzy is highly  intelligent, loving, loyal, friendly and just beautiful. (Yes this is a real review and I an not exaggerating!) She gets along with the senior dog in our home and is friendly to anyone who shows up while still protecting us when she feels it is necessary. We could not be more thrilled with this addition to our family! Look out Theresa, because we have family members who will be contacting you to adopt in the future! And who knows - we might also. Thanks for your training tips, follow-up texts and little gifts along the way. We will send more pictures soon - Bazzy's getting soooo big!

My husband and I recently adopted Bravo from the Beldens and I just want to say that my experience was incredible. This family loves these dogs with all their heart and every puppy is a member of their family. The breeding is researched extensively and thoroughly planned out, down to every gene. They also truly get to know each puppy and their individual personalities to try and pair you with the dog that will best suit your lifestyle. When we arrived to pick her up we were greeted with open arms, a freshly bathed/nail clipped pup, a goodie bag to make the transition to her new home easier and all of her records organized and her AKC registration already complete. I still keep in touch with them weekly to ask questions, get advice and simply to share pictures of my beautiful baby. If you’re in the market for a true GSD you will not be disappointed with Bluegrass Country German Shepards and they genuinely love and support Veterans.

I have known and worked with this family for a while now. They truly love the breed and understand its roots. It is evident they respect the original intent of the GSD and work hard to preserve it. As a professional trainer, I have seen and worked many good dogs. But few have been as consistent as the litters I've experienced from the Beldens. Recently,  I acquired a puppy from them, Belle, and she is the epitome of the GSD. I would recommend the Beldens and their puppies without reservations. The dogs will speak for themselves but you couldn't ask for better people to work with. They put a lot of work into every aspect of their litters (breeding, whelping,  selection,  etc).

I have waited a couple months before I left this comment. I will not talk about how easy the “transaction” was because Arya -AKC certified GSD is more than that.  The breeders are very caring individuals who make sure their GSDs are going to a good home! They follow up and love to stay in touch!.  Arya is very healthy, strong and fast growing! No healthy issues whatsoever. extremely intelligent and a fast learner.  I would buy from this breeder again

We picked up our little man on a Sunday back in March.  Everything was well organized and he was bathed and ready to come home with us.  They took time to answer any questions we needed that day, have have been doing the same ever since, which is great if you are a first time German Shepherd owner.  Their advice has helped tremendously and have zero complaints about our experience.  On top of all of this, they have great respect for their veterans which I appreciate very much.  Thanks again Theresa and family for providing us with our boy Arson!

Definitely the best experience we’ve had in getting a dog. Theresa and her crew are on top of everything, organized to the very last detail and are available for any questions/help we may need. Our pup couldn’t be more perfect and our vet is very impressed w/ her temperament. I love how they like to follow how all their pups are doing, shows how much they care!

Definitely the best buying experience I have had with a dog. Not only are they very knowledgeable with German Shepherds, but they also take care of EVERYTHING. It’s easy to tell that from the beginning all their pups are loved and prepped for new owners.
